What once began as a networking event for the Belgian construction professional is today an international c-level community where people from all branches of the construction industry meet. This is the story of Chez Nous Cannes.

How it all began

MIPIM in Cannes is the largest real estate fair in the world. However, it is often difficult for visitors to meet there. That is why more than 12 years ago Chez Nous was created, an event for Belgian construction entrepreneurs who are in Cannes during MIPIM. Since then, the concept of the annual invite-only networking event has remained unchanged: a beautiful location in the southern French seaside town, quality catering and a nice ambiance. The ideal setting to meet in peace and quiet.

C-level networking event

After 12 editions, Chez Nous Cannes has grown into a high-end networking event that each year attracts over 800 professionals from the Belgian and international construction world to Cannes.

Much more than an event, it has also evolved into a community of c-level construction professionals who can exchange new ideas about the challenges facing the construction sector. Think of the European Green Deal, the evolution towards smart cities, the impact of the construction shift, the constant focus on sustainability and innovation, increasing digitalization, PropTech, ...

Yes, We Can(nes)

We are absolutely thrilled about our current Chez Nous Family. Recently, we could warmly welcome Arcadis Belgium and their Commercial Director Gunter Egghe! They'll be joining forces with our distinguished directors to manage our C-level networking event. We are looking forward to what promises to be an outstanding collaboration.

Next to that, we are very excited to also welcome a few brand new partners in 2024: Deloitte, Grohe, Schindler, Giacomini, QLP, Trimo, Paul AG, Woutim, Cras. This joining will add valuable expertise and unique perspectives to our community. The 4 strong organizers and 30 partners are looking forward to work together, share knowledge and inspire each other and the community.

What will the future bring?

Chez Nous continues to evolve and establish itself as an innovative platform. Following the launch of the app and Chez Nous Brussels, it remains committed to strengthening its international appeal. The presence of guests from France, the Netherlands, Germany and Luxembourg proves that there is also cross-border interest in a high-quality networking event for c-level construction professionals.

Increasing the international reach of Chez Nous Cannes, while maintaining its high-end character, is the major challenge for the coming years.
